A singing teacher by term and hiker by holiday
I love exploring new places and trying new things. Since moving to the UK, I have explored its many corners and travelled to other countries on holidays and conferences. Being an intrepid traveller, I have been to John ‘O Groats and Lands End and seen countless sights, tasted many things, acquired bruises and taken scores of pictures. I’m now trying my hand at video-making.
I’m a singing teacher, singer and a lover of the outdoors and want to build my hiking distance stamina. I come from Cape Town, a city of mountains and would often walk up them with my father. But, being much younger than my scouting brothers, I was always too young to join them on their long distance treks and by the time I was deemed old enough to join them, they had grown tired of the trails. So I came late to long distance trekking after being inspired by a friend who gifted me a guide to the Thames Path. After completing this, I was hooked and have walked the Portuguese Camino from Porto and the French Camino from St Jean Pied de Port.
I wish to capture my adventures and provide ideas and suggestions to people who may be interested in trying out these adventures for themselves. I’m still really just a novice, but I’m gaining experience which may he of help to others.
